New Zealand landscape and seascape photography - by day and by night…

Returning to live in New Zealand after years away, I was struck with the clarity of the light and the vibrant colours of land and sea. Bisected by the fortieth parallel south, with the country’s length bearing the brunt of prevailing westerly winds, no two days seem alike in New Zealand - particularly in my home city of Wellington. Winds here keep the clouds and light in constant flux, and I’ve sought to capture some of that evanescence in my images of this wonderful country.
